My work is born from a need to express myself through multifaceted means, the self portrait constitutes a sizable portion of my production.A painted portrait, is far more than a pictorial representation as with a photograph, self introspection is a fundamental process, It enables a realisation of 'self', within ones physical presence, and the wider world in which 'self' exists. Whenever someone paints themselves they are also painting all human kind.
