Mike Gravel

My name is Mike Gravel. I'm an artist from Newburyport, MA.
Here's a SP I've been working on for a couple of days.
Yesterday it was mostly reds and blues and I was unhappy with it. Last night, I dreamed of yellow. Now it's done.

This piece is an oil on canvas- 16" x 20". I guess I'll call it "Yellow Me".

Patrizia Schopf

I did this self-portrait when I wished to have a
cat because my flatmade left with hers. Two months
later a friend of mine gave me a cat, he had not seen
the drawing but it looked equal. So represent your
wishes. Maybe they come true :)

"Depressed" self-portrait

Mixed media on watercolor paper - 8" x 10"

This self-portrait represents my lifelong struggle with depression.
The sadness. The pain. The hopelessness.

It just won't let me be and I fear it'll always be a part of my life.

Bonnie Heather

I finally got around to doing two things I've always planned on.  First I wanted to do a painting in a day like so many of my blogging friends.  Second I wanted to paint a self portrait.  Today I finally managed it.

Sharon White

I am an artist living in Albuquerque, but originally from Kansas.  Included in my self-portrait are sunflowers and my mini-schnauzer, Gidget. "My husband asked,  "How come I'm not in there, you put Gidget in?!" I had to explain that it was, after all, a SELF-Portrait.  My blog is:  sharonssunflowerstudio.blogspot.com.   The medium is watercolor and Sharpie permanent marker.  Size is 12" x 15," framed.  My email is abqwhites@aol.com   Here's a link to the blog:
