Joy Logan

I took a photo of me, then did a dark painted background on canvas board. Then I drew small lined squares onto the canvas board and the enlarged photo. With bunches of catalogs and magazines I cut out coordinating patterns and colored squares til I was happy with the colors and placement for my self portrait. Then I glued them into place and coated the whole 20X16 canvas board collage with acrylic matte gel. I didn't work on this piece straight thru,it was over a few months. I love doing collage.
